Lidia B. Medhin
Lidia is a PhD candidate at Edith Cowan University under the supervision of Professor Elin Gray. Her research focuses on extracellular vesicles as predictive biomarkers for melanoma and lung cancer. Originally from Eritrea, she received the Zagre Presidential Award and the Medal of Honour for academic excellence. She holds a World Bank-funded MSc and has six first-author publications. Lidia has served and continues to serve the academic community through roles such as ECU HDR Guild Representative, SOAR Peer Advisor, HDR School Representative, member of HDR forum ECU, Centre for Precision Health cancer stream PhD representative, and ANZSEV ECR committee member.
